Maika Hamano helped Japan make it three wins from three in the SheBelieves Cup as they defeated the United States 2-1 to win the friendly tournament.

Our winger started and played 75 minutes for Japan in California, while Catarina Macario played just under an hour for the USA as they suffered a first defeat under the reign of former Chelsea manager Emma Hayes.

Yuka Momiki opened the scoring for Japan inside two minutes, before the USA levelled the game through Ally Sentnor with Macario bagging the assist. The winner arrived early on in the second half when Toko Koga turned in a rebound in the 51st minute.

Japan's 2-1 victory against the USA means they finish the SheBelieves Cup as victors, winning each of their three matches. Hamano enjoyed an impressive international window, scoring twice and featuring in all of her country's games.

In the other match of the SheBelieves Cup, Mayra Ramirez's Colombia faced Australia, with both sides looking for their first win of the tournament. The South American side prevailed, with our No.7 featuring into injury time and also claiming an assist in her side's 2-1 win over the Matildas.
