There were several Chelsea Academy players involved in an emphatic victory for England Under-17s over Georgia, which saw the team progress into the elite round of Euros qualifying.
The Young Lions beat Georgia earlier this afternoon with a comfortable 6-2 win in their second match of the group stage in qualifying for the 2023 European Under-17 Championship.
This victory means that they make it through to the elite round of qualifying with a game to spare.
Some Chelsea players were involved in today's game as Ted Curd, Josh Acheampong and Travis Akomeah all played 90 minutes.
Michael Golding captained the side again, fresh off of his brace in the the previous game, which was against Lithuania. Kiano Dyer was also involved as almost half of the England line-up included players from Cobham.
Next up for the Young Lions is their final Group 3 match against Israel at the Tbilisi Sea Technical Center Stadium on Monday (2pm UK time), with the top spot still up for grabs.
