Nicolas Jackson’s finish in our win over Newcastle United is among the nominees for the Premier League’s October Goal of the Month.

The striker set us on the way to a fine home victory over the Magpies by netting the opener at Stamford Bridge, before Cole Palmer secured the points following an equaliser by Alexander Isak.

Palmer was involved with Nico’s goal, sending Pedro Neto racing away with a lovely lofted pass before the Portuguese winger beat his marker and squared for Jackson to sweep home.

The striker’s finish was too hot for Nick Pope and capped off a wonderful team move by the Blues. You can vote for Nico to win the monthly award by clicking here.

Up against Jackson in the running for the Goal of the Month award are seven other players – Facundo Buonanotte of Leicester City, Fulham’s Andreas Pereira, Manchester City duo Jeremy Doku and Josko Gvardiol, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, Ryan Christie of Bournemouth and Manchester United man Alejandro Garnacho.

Voting closes at midday on Monday, November 4 and you can vote for Jackson here!
