Chelsea is pleased to announce Jadon Sancho has joined the club on loan from Manchester United, with the Blues having an obligation to sign the England international permanently next summer.
Jadon said: ‘I’m really excited to be here. London is where I grew up and I’m happy to be back.
'The manager spoke to me about the project and, for a young player, it's exciting. Hopefully I can bring goals and assists to the Bridge.'
Jadon started his career at Watford before joining Manchester City at the age of 14. Three years later, he signed for Borussia Dortmund and proved himself to be one of the most exciting wingers in Europe.
Jadon made 137 appearances across four seasons with the German giants, winning the 2019 DFL Supercup and the 2021 DFB-Pokal. He also established himself in the England squad, winning 18 caps during his time with Dortmund.
In the summer of 2021, having represented England at the European Championship, Jadon joined Manchester United. He made 38 appearances during his first campaign with the club and scored five goals, one of which came at Stamford Bridge in a 1-1 draw.
The 24-year-old made 44 appearances over the following 18 months before rejoining Dortmund on loan in January.
Jadon made a big impact once again in Germany and helped Dortmund reach the Champions League final against Real Madrid at Wembley.
Having completed his switch to Stamford Bridge, Jadon will join his new teammates in the coming days.
Welcome to Chelsea, Jadon!
