The Portuguese’s loan move was announced yesterday, and while we await confirmation on his availability for Fulham tonight because of the requisite paperwork, Felix has discussed his qualities and his aspirations for the next few months.

Felix has played at Stamford Bridge before, although with the second leg of our Champions League last-16 tie against Atletico Madrid taking place behind closed doors, he has to yet to experience our home with Blues fans willing us on. He does recall how tight the stands were to the pitch.

When it comes to current and former Blues that spring to mind, Felix revealed he encountered one new team-mate by chance, while a host of greats from his homeland also stand out.

‘I met one time Reece James when I was in London, in the restaurant, an amazing guy.

‘Chelsea players that I remember. I can remember Portuguese players, Deco, Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira, Meireles, but there are a lot of players, not Portuguese, that I like too, like Hazard, Frank Lampard, Drogba.’
