Chelsea can confirm that defender Jorja Fox has sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury while on loan at Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Eagles on a season-long loan after penning a new deal until 2027 with the Blues, will undertake her rehabilitation at Chelsea.
Fox has been at the club since she was eight years old and came up through the ranks of our Academy. She made her senior debut during the 2020/21 season against Aston Villa, before joining Brighton & Hove Albion on loan for the following campaign.
During that loan spell, Fox made 23 appearances across all competitions and, unfortunately, suffered an ACL injury in the latter stages of the season in May 2023.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to extend their best wishes to Jorja for her recovery.
