Chelsea can confirm midfielder Katerina Svitkova will spend the remainder of the 2023/24 season on loan at Slavia Prague in her native Czech Republic.
The 27-year-old arrived from West Ham United in July 2022 having spent two seasons with the east London side, but endured a difficult first season in blue due to injury.
She managed five appearances in all competitions and scored her first goal for the club in an 8-0 UEFA Women’s Champions League victory over Albanian side Vllaznia in October 2022.
In February, it was confirmed the Czech international had undergone knee surgery which ruled her out for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
For the rest of the 2023/24 campaign, Svitkova returns to Slavia Prague where she started her career and scored an impressive 188 goals in 177 appearances for the Czech outfit.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to extend their best wishes to Katerina during her time on loan with Slavia Prague.
