Ten-time Women's FA Cup winner Katie Chapman surprised students from Epsom Downs Primary School ahead of Sunday’s final between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Katie Chapman, who holds the record for the most FA Cup successes across both the women’s and men’s game, was joined by her former England international team-mate Fara Williams, who started her career at Chelsea, as the pair met school pupils for an afternoon of football activity.

Katie and Fara, accompanied by the Women’s FA Cup trophy, surprised students during an assembly and answered questions about their careers and their thoughts on Sunday’s big game, before posing for photos with the prestigious trophy.

The pair then joined a group of schoolgirls for some football activity outside.

Chapman said: ‘The FA Cup will always hold a special place in my heart, winning it for the first time at the age of 14 and then in the final game of my career with Chelsea to make it 10 wins in total.

‘It’s so great to come here and see so many girls enjoying their football and excited about Sunday’s game. It’s going to be a showcase game, in front of a sold-out crowd at Wembley, but I’ll be cheering on Chelsea all of the way.'

Chelsea Women are aiming for their third successive victory in the competition.
