Chelsea midfielder Kiano Dyer has been nominated for October's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
The 17-year-old has made six appearances for our Under-21s in Premier League 2 since the start of the season and provided two assists in October. He set up Shumaira Mheuka to score in a dominant 6-0 win over London rivals Fulham and created Deivid Washington's goal in our 3-1 victory against Leicester City at Kingsmeadow.
Kiano's form has also resulted in first-team involvement this term; he made the substitutes' bench for our UEFA Conference League fixture against Gent at Stamford Bridge.
Dyer has been shortlisted for the October PL2 honour alongside seven other players: Middlesbrough’s Hazeem Bakre; Arsenal’s Nathan Butler-Oyedeji; Sunderland duo Daniel Cameron and Harrison Jones; Manchester City’s Emilio Lawrence; Reading’s Jeremiah Okine-Peters and Caylan Vickers of Brighton.
The winner will be announced on Friday 8 November at 10am.
