This evening, the Chelsea Legends will return to Stamford Bridge for the first time in five years. Here is everything you need to know about the Legends of Europe game…
The team, which will be made up of a collection of Chelsea heroes from different eras, will unite to take on Bayern Munich Legends and the fixture itself will be played in memory of the late Gianluca Vialli.
When does the Legends of Europe take place?
The Legends of Europe match kicks off at 7:15pm tonight (9 September) at Stamford Bridge.
Each half will be thirty minutes long, with a 25 minute break at half-time. The half-time break will include a performance by Suggs, who will perform Chelsea anthem Blue Day live from Stamford Bridge.
Where will the proceeds from the match be going?
The game is being played in tribute to former Chelsea forward and manager Gianluca Vialli, with all proceeds from the match split between two charities.
Half of the proceeds will go to the Chelsea Foundation - the club’s charitable foundation - and the remaining 50 per cent will be donated to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which supports the work of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust – which was where the iconic former Chelsea forward was treated.

Are there any tributes to Vialli planned before the game?
For anyone attending the Legends of Europe game at Stamford Bridge, there is the chance to visit the first in a new series of special heritage events, highlighting the life and career of our much-loved player and manager.
The free pre-match heritage event this Saturday will take place in the Tea Bar at Stamford Bridge, where there will be close-up views of some of Vialli’s many prized items from the Chelsea Museum. You can share your memories with museum staff and members of the Chelsea Heritage Partnership, many of whom will be on hand to reminisce with you.
Open to Legends of Europe match ticket holders, the event starts at 5.15pm and runs until 7pm, 15 minutes before kick-off at 7.15pm. You can find the Tea Bar just along the Shed Wall between the ticket office and Frankie’s Bar and Grill.
