Noni Madueke could not hide his delight at sealing a move to Chelsea, with the winger keen to get his Blues career up and running.
The London-born winger completed a transfer to Stamford Bridge from PSV Eindhoven on Friday evening, penning a seven-and-a-half-year deal with a club option to extend by a further year.
He was unable to make his Blues bow against Liverpool the following day due to Premier League registration rules but could be in line to feature in our next fixture against Fulham at the start of February.
We caught up with Madueke, who started his football career in the youth ranks of Crystal Palace and Tottenham, recently to talk through the move to Stamford Bridge and the winger was clearly delighted to return to England and sign for the Pride of London!
‘I’m absolutely buzzing to be a Blue!' Noni explained.
‘I’m joining such a great club and I’m ready to play in the best league in the world, with the best players and against the best teams. I’m so excited to be here at Chelsea.
‘As a player, I like to get on the ball and be exciting. I look to take players on, beat players when dribbling, be creative and score goals for the team.’
