The Blues head into the second leg of our Conference League quarter-final against Legia Warsaw with a 3-0 advantage following last week's clash in Poland.

Progression at Stamford Bridge tonight will leave us three wins away from lifting the UEFA Conference League, the only major trophy missing from our cabinet.

Chelsea are also in a good position to secure Champions League football next season, with sixth-place Blues just one point below Manchester City directly above us and the top five spots guaranteed qualification next season.

The Blues enjoyed a great start to the campaign which saw us second in the table prior to Christmas before enduring a dip in form.

Enzo Maresca's side have won six and drawn two of our last nine games in all competitions, though, and Gusto said: ‘Sometimes the season is like this. This season was new because we have a new manager and a new way to play. Sometimes it can happen, but we have to just stay focused on our plan.

'We have a lot of quality in the group so I’m sure we can finish with our target and we will give our best to make it.'

He continued: 'The most important thing is to win and get Chelsea in the Champions League next year and to win the Conference League trophy.

'We don’t really feel the pressure. We are a lot of young players but with a lot of qualities. I think we are good enough to just stay focused on ourselves and to give our best game after game.'

Maresca has a clear footballing philosophy which he then tactically adapts based on factors such as the opposition.

Gusto was asked about the importance of the players believing in Maresca's footballing plan and sticking to the system, he replied: ‘To win you have to believe in your plan, otherwise you cannot win. Most of the season we were top four or top five, so I think it’s because the plan was good. But it’s not enough because the season’s not finished. We have a few games in the future so we just have to continue like this, to give our best on the pitch and try to finish with our target.'
