Chelsea supporters have voted Moises Caicedo's phenomenal strike against Bournemouth as our Goal of the Season for 2023/24.

Fans had the opportunity to vote on several exceptional goals from across our men's, women's and Academy sides, and Caicedo's 50-yard effort against the Cherries – scored on the final day of the Premier League season – proved the clear winner.

After collecting the ball just inside his own half following a clearance from Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto, the Ecuadorian took a touch and launched a perfectly weighted and expertly placed shot into the goal in front of the Shed End.

The goal was Caicedo's first for Chelsea and helped ensure we ended the 2023/24 Premier League season with a victory. The midfielder joins the likes of Michael Essien, Ashley Cole, and Eden Hazard in claiming the club's Goal of the Season award.

Caicedo's goal was the clear winner in supporters' minds, with the 22-year-old's strike receiving 64.7 per cent of the vote.

The battle for second was far closer, with Enzo Fernandez's wonderful free-kick in our FA Cup victory at Aston Villa finishing in the runner-up spot with 10.5 per cent.

Fernandez's goal finished marginally ahead of Cole Palmer's fine individual opener in our 6-0 league victory over Everton.

The England international's strike finished with 8.2 per cent of the votes and, as was the case with Caicedo's effort, was shortlisted for Premier League Goal of the Season crown.

Congratulations, Moises!
