Mykhailo Mudryk has expressed his delight at joining Chelsea and says his long-term aims are to help the Blues win silverware.

The Ukrainian international completed his move to Stamford Bridge from Shakhtar Donetsk on a long-term contract on Sunday, with the forward in attendance as we defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 in the Premier League.

Mudryk was an enthralled spectator as Kai Havertz’s goal ensured us a London derby victory and now the wideman is eager to join his new team-mates out on the pitch and play his part for Graham Potter’s side.

‘I’m very excited to be here and be part of the Chelsea project,’ the 22-year-old attacker told us.

‘This is a big club and I’m happy to be here. I want to try and help the team win titles, I want to try and improve my game and to always do my best for Chelsea.

'My career has always been focused on hard work and that is why I’m here. Hard work is a very strong thing for me and something I’ve always looked to do.

'Every match in the Premier League is very difficult but I really can’t wait to get started here.'
