Nathalie Bjorn only had to use one word to sum up our London derby win over Arsenal in front of a record crowd for a Women's Super League match at Stamford Bridge...amazing.

The defender played the full 90 minutes as the Blues beat Arsenal 1-0, with Guro Reiten's 84th-minute penalty securing us all three points in SW6.

It was an entertaining contest, with often little to split the two sides. Both teams had opportunities to break the deadlock, however, it was Sonia Bompastor's side who prevailed with a victory that moved us to 34 points at the top of the table.

'It felt amazing,' Bjorn said after the win. 'I couldn't stop smiling. Our performance could have been better and there are some things to work on, but, overall, we were solid.

'Winning the game last-minute and Guro scoring the penalty was just amazing. It was an amazing feeling when it went in.

'Guro is very good at penalties. She's ice cold. When it went in and the whole stadium went wild, it was just an amazing feeling.'

It was an impressive defensive performance from Bjorn and her team-mates, thwarting a number of dangerous chances created by the visitors, and picking up our eighth clean sheet in the WSL this season as a result.

'I got in some good blocks,' Bjorn reflected. 'We have been working really well together and I think we were solid in defence.

'We work together well as a backline with the goalkeeper, and the whole team in general. Of course, you have to be alert because Arsenal have world-class players everywhere. I thought we coped with that really well.'

The victory played out in front of 34,302 fans - a new record for a Chelsea home match in the WSL. Bjorn says it was a special feeling.

'It was absolutely amazing,' Bjorn added. 'Coming out, it gave me goosebumps. I just love to play for this team and I love to play in this stadium.'

Bompastor's side now have 34 points from 12 games played in the WSL, only failing to win on one occasion, which was a draw with Leicester City in December. And after the victory against Arsenal, Bjorn has no intention of letting up such fine form.

'I'm so proud of the girls,' she said. 'We want to just keep going and to keep improving. We'll take this win - we've created a good gap at the top of the table - but, we want to keep winning and moving in the right direction.'
