Nathalie Bjorn took some time to reflect on Chelsea's March madness before looking ahead to another exciting month in April.
In the space of a month, Chelsea progressed to the FA Cup and the UEFA Women's Champions League semi-finals, won the League Cup, and picked up five points from three Women's Super League games to maintain our position atop the table.
Bjorn played a pivotal role in those achievements, starting five of our seven matches, helping the Blues keep three clean sheets across the three competitions, and scoring in our impressive Champions League second-leg comeback against Manchester City.
'It's been a really big month for everyone, both mentally and physically,' our Swedish defender reflected. 'I think that overall, we had a really good month. We need to keep our heads high and we still have everything in our own hands.'
The centre-back has received a call-up to represent Sweden in their UEFA Nations League fixtures against Italy and Wales during the international break, and will then return to Chelsea before a season-defining run of fixtures.
April 12 will see the Blues compete for a place in the FA Cup final at Wembley when they take on Liverpool at Kingsmeadow, and that will be followed by the first leg of the Champions League semi-final away at Barcelona on April 20.
A midweek WSL fixture away at Crystal Palace comes three days later on April 23, before the second leg against Barca on April 27.
'It's another big month in April,' Bjorn explained. 'But first things first, internationals, and then come back even better!'
