Nathalie Bjorn was disappointed with the stoppage-time equaliser conceded against West Ham United and admitted the Blues should have been more clinical in the first half of the 2-2 draw.
We were 2-1 up and looked to have kept the Hammers at bay in what was largely a controlled performance from Sonia Bompastor's side, but Shekiera Martinez ended our 100 per cent winning record at home with a 91st-minute header.
The Blues were understandably frustrated after conceding so late on, and Bjorn felt we should've made our dominance count in a first half that saw us fire 16 shots at goal in comparison to just four from West Ham.
'Yeah, of course, we're disappointed,' said Bjorn after the final whistle. 'I think we could score more goals in the first half. I think they scored two goals from nothing, really. So yeah, we're disappointed.
Bompastor, wary of player fatigue, made seven changes to the side that began the game against Manchester City in the Champions League three days earlier. She also brought Erin Cuthbert and captain Millie Bright off at half time.
Yet Bjorn didn't want to make any excuses for the dropped points.
'No, I don't think [it was due to the rotation]. I think we're a good team and we should win no matter which players we put out.
'Of course, there are different relationships when you play the new players. But I think with the first half that we had, we should've score more goals in this game.'
