On the final Sunday of this month, Stamford Bridge will be hosting one of the most exciting Chelsea Women matches of the season and we are very much welcoming families to join us for action.

The Blues host Barcelona in a UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final on 27 April, with kick-off at 2pm, and to help everyone enjoy the big occasion as our team aims to defeat the reigning champions and reach this year’s final, we are for the first time opening up one of the stadium’s premium venues to trial a new dedicated pre-match family space.

The Rose & Ball will be the location for Families at the Bridge – which will run from 12 noon up until the 2pm kick-off - and it will be free of charge for all tickets holders for the game.

Storage will be available for buggies, mobility scooters and wheelchairs and there are more details on that below. Click here to book the buggy, wheelchair and mobility scooter storage facility, or to register your interest for the Families at the Bridge space. Please note, this registering does not guarantee entry.

Especially for our young Blues, Families at the Bridge will have activities and crafts taking place including:

  • Poster-making station

  • Face painting

  • Kids’ entertainment

  • A visit from our mascots Stamford and Bridget

If this is right for you as you look forward to a special Sunday at Stamford Bridge, entry on the day is entirely on a first come first served basis. There is limited capacity and this is for ticket holders only who will need to show their tickets for entry.

The Rose & Ball is located at the north end of the stadium site, behind the Matthew Harding Stand.

You can register your interest by clicking here and help us plan for numbers but please note, this registering does not guarantee entry.

Storage facility

For this Chelsea Women vs Barcelona Women fixture, a dedicated wheelchair, mobility scooter and buggy storage facility will be available in the lower ground floor area of the Rose & Ball for the convenience of our supporters. Please kindly note this service is being offered on a trial basis for this match only. In the event this facility is available at future Chelsea Women games held at Stamford Bridge, this will be communicated accordingly.

Any supporters wishing to use this facility, please book your spot here. The area will open from two hours before kick-off and remain open until one hour after the final whistle for collections. Please note that we have limited spots and will close the booking form once we have reached capacity.

This facility is intended exclusively for the storage of pushchairs, wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Please remove all personal belongings, such as bags or toys, before leaving items in the storage area. All belongings are left at the owner’s risk.

Please also note our strict no readmittance policy will remain in place throughout the day. Should you need to leave the stadium bowl to visit the storage area for any reason, you will not be allowed to re-enter the stadium. Please plan your day accordingly and ensure you have everything you need with you before heading to the turnstiles.
