Continuing Chelsea Football Club’s commitment to providing an inclusive environment for our visitors, for the half-term school holiday starting later this month, there are innovations to both our Stadium Tours and our Megastore experience.
For the first time there will be a Relaxed Stadium Tour and Museum at Stamford Bridge and a Quiet Hour in the Megastore at the stadium, as well as access to our Sensory Room outside of matchdays. These are introduced to ensure an accessible environment for visitors who may need a quieter and calmer version of our regular offering. Full details are below.
The Relaxed Stadium Tour and Museum
Our new Relaxed Stadium Tour is a tailored version of the traditional Stamford Bridge Stadium Tour, removing some of the noisier and more visually stimulating elements of the tour. This is to make it more accessible and enjoyable for visitors who may need a calmer and quieter tour.
Relaxed Stadium Tours will include access to Stamford Bridge’s dressing rooms, the press room, the players’ tunnel and pitch-side. There will also be a visit to the Chelsea Museum which includes the Trophy Room – a private space that showcases the most complete collection of football silverware anywhere in London.
Relaxed Stadium Tours will take place on Monday 28 October and Friday 1 November and will start at 9am, 9.10am and 9.20am. They are limited to a maximum of two families per tour (max. five persons per family).

Quiet Hour in the Megastore
The Quiet Hour in our Megastore at Stamford Bridge provides the opportunity for those who have booked a Relaxed Stadium Tour to also enjoy a quiet shopping experience before or after their tour. This is being introduced with the aim of making it more comfortable for fans who may need a quieter shopping environment with less sensory input.
Quiet Hour will take place between 9am and 10am on Monday 28 October and Friday 1 November.
During Quiet Hour, the maximum capacity will be limited to reduce the number of people in store and the waiting time at our till points. There will be reduced lighting and all in-store screens will be turned off to create a less bright shopping environment. Music and staff radios will be turned off to make the store a calmer and quieter place to shop.
To support fans who may need communication assistance in store, we are the first football club to work with the company Widgit to install a permanent communication board which empowers individuals of all ages to express themselves independently through symbols.
We appreciate our Quiet Hour times may not suit everyone so if you would like to visit the Megastore outside of Quiet Hour and need some assistance in the store during your visit, please email [email protected]
Sensory Room at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea Football Club and the Chelsea Foundation frequently host families in our sensory room so they can watch our players in action, and we are now extending the use of the room to non-matchdays.
The sensory room will be open between 9am and 11am on Monday 28 October and Friday 1 November for those who have booked a Relaxed Tour or who will be visiting the store during Quiet Hour. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in visiting the Sensory Room.
