Chelsea can confirm that goalkeeper Nicky Evrard has completed a season-long loan move to fellow Women’s Super League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
Nicky Evrard put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Blues this summer, having previously represented OH Leuven in her native Belgium.
The 28-year-old was presented with the Belgian Golden Boot earlier this year, an award given to the best Belgian player, becoming the first goalkeeper to win the women’s prize.
An experienced goalkeeper at domestic and international level, Evrard will spend the forthcoming 2023/24 season competing in the WSL with Melissa Phillips and her Brighton side.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Nicky every success during her time on the South Coast.
