It has been another busy year for Chelsea Foundation with the hosting of more than 70 families for its community days, which see Chelsea supporters who have been going through difficult times invited into the training ground along with their families for an exclusive experience.

Teddy Hayward, Taio Jarman, Logan Risk and Archie Andrews attended the most recent community day, with the group and their families enjoying a special day.

The day began an exclusive Q&A session with Chelsea TV’s Lee Parker before heading out to watch the men’s team training.

Following training, the guests met with their heroes who signed memorabilia for the supporters.

Archie Andrews said afterwards: ‘It’s my birthday coming up on Christmas Eve, so coming here for a pre-birthday treat is brilliant. I first fell in love with Chelsea after watching John Terry play for England whilst I was in hospital, so it’s great to have been at the training ground.

‘I really enjoyed watching the team train today and was really impressed by Christopher Nkunku. To then meet all of the players after training was amazing!’

Logan Risk said: ‘Today is a memory that will last forever. We travelled from Plymouth early in the morning and it was definitely worth the journey!’

Taio Jarman and Teddy Hayward also enjoyed the experience, with Teddy finally able to meet his favourite player Conor Gallagher.

Earlier in December, Albie Boulton and Thomas Moore also experienced a Chelsea Foundation community day.

Thomas said: ‘I’m a lifelong Chelsea fan and to be able to be at the training ground is a dream come true. Seeing the likes of Reece James and Conor Gallagher in action is something I will never forget.’
