Cole Palmer's strike against Wolves has been selected as Chelsea's Goal of the Month for August.

With the game level heading into half-time at Molineux, Robert Sanchez fired the ball to Nicolas Jackson with the Senegalese striker quickly forwarding the pass onto an onrushing Palmer.

Exhibiting impressive precision and composure, Palmer lobbed the ball over the stranded Jose Sa to make it 2-1, wheeling away to celebrate with his iconic 'cold' move.

The attacker's strike was the favourite pick from Chelsea supporters who voted on the club's Official App and website, taking a commanding 67 per cent of the vote.

In second place, with 22 per cent, was Joao Felix's debut goal against Wolves during our 6-2 win at Molineux.

While Noni Madueke has two strikes tied for third, with his powerful finish against Servette and his hat-trick goal versus Wolves both on five per cent each.

Congratulations, Cole!
