Cole Palmer has been nominated for the Premier League’s Castrol Game Changer of the Season Award.
The 22-year-old’s match-winning display in our 4-3 win against Manchester United from April, where the forward struck a stunning hat-trick, has made the six-strong shortlist.
Palmer produced a Stamford Bridge masterclass as we completed a remarkable win against United despite the Red Devils having a two-goal lead.
The Blues trailed 3-2 as late as the ninth minute of injury time only for Palmer to step in with a perfect penalty and level the scores.
Barely a minute later our No.20 picked up the ball from the short corner before firing home at the near post to complete his treble and secure one of the most incredible victories Stamford Bridge has seen in recent times.
Palmer already has one Premier League award on the mantlepiece following his outstanding debut year in Blue after topping the vote to claim the Hublot 2023/24 Young Player of the Season prize.
The England international ended his first season at the club with 22 goals and 11 assists in the league, and 25 goals in all competitions.
Palmer faces competition from five other players on the shortlist including:
Darwin Nunez's two-goal late show after coming off the bench in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Newcastle United
Ollie Watkins' hat-trick and assist in Aston Villa's 6-1 thrashing of Brighton & Hove Albion
Scott McTominay's late double in Manchester United's dramatic 2-1 victory over Brentford
Kevin De Bruyne's goal and match-winning assist from the bench in Manchester City's 3-2 win over Newcastle
Stefan Ortega's excellent display and clean sheet from the bench in Manchester City's 2-0 victory against Tottenham
Voting is now open and closes on at midday on Friday 24 May. You can vote for Cole by clicking here.
