The Blues trailed 3-2 as late as the ninth minute of injury time only for Palmer to step in with a perfect penalty and level the scores.

Palmer already has one Premier League award on the mantlepiece following his outstanding debut year in Blue after topping the vote to claim the Hublot 2023/24 Young Player of the Season prize.

• Stefan Ortega's excellent display and clean sheet from the bench in Manchester City's 2-0 victory against Tottenham
