Cole Palmer's opener against Everton has been picked by supporters as Chelsea's Goal of the month for April.

With the Blues looking to stamp their authority early into the match under the lights at the Bridge, Palmer received the ball in the middle of the park before turning to nutmeg his defender.

In space, the 22-year-old backheeled the ball to Nicolas Jackson, who played it straight back to Palmer, and the England international struck it first time into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

It was an exceptional performance from Cole against the Toffees, bagging four goals in total on our way to a 6-0 victory in the Premier League.

His opener against Everton won the Premier League's Goal of the Month award, while Palmer also claimed the competition's Player of the Month for April.

The winger's strike was the favourite pick from Chelsea supporters who voted on the club's Official App and website, taking 33 per cent of the vote.

In second place, with 24 per cent, was Cole's dramatic winner against Manchester United to secure a memorable 4-3 victory.

Rounding off the top three, Palmer also took bronze with his second strike against Everton, earning 16 per cent of the tally from Blues fans.

Congratulations, Cole!
