Our development squad will be in search of back-to-back wins when they take on Brighton on Sunday in a clash scheduled to kick-off at 4pm.
Chelsea are one of the form teams in the PL2 currently as we are unbeaten in seven games.
Brighton Hove & Albion are our opponents on Sunday and they are unbeaten in their last three games so our young Blues will need to remain wary of their threat.
Chelsea Academy player Zak Sturge will be going up against his former club for the first time since swapping the coast for west London.
Sturge has settled into life well at Cobham and he is looking forward to seeing old friends despite being fully focused on the task of winning.
Zak Sturge on former club
'It is always exciting to play against your former club, I have so many great friends there, from the coaching staff to the players, it is just a great club.
'I am so grateful for all that I learned as a player when I was there as they really helped me to reach high levels and I could see my game improving daily.
'I am focused on the team that I now play for and I want to create new memories here. I have already made great friends and I am building close relationships with the coaches here.'
Sturge added: 'We are playing so well right now and our unbeaten run shows this, I just want to give my best for the team and help us to secure the win.'
Last time out
Mason Burstow, Omari Hutchinson and Ben Elliott were all on the scoresheet in last week's win against Blackburn Rovers.
Burtsow's first-time finish past Jordan Eastham, who had a fantastic game in goal for the away side, broke the deadlock in the second half.
After controlling most of the possession in the game, Blackburn were proving difficult to put away and it was not till the last minute of the game that we doubled our lead as Hutchinson went on a surging run into the box and he was fouled. He took the penalty and converted what was his fourth goal of the season.
There was still time for Elliott to latch onto a Jude Soonsup-Bell cross which gave us our third deep into stoppage time.
This win has put us fifth in the league table with 16 points as three other teams are also on the that points tally.
Last away day at Brighton
Our last match in the PL2 against Brighton turned out to be a major win as the three points secured in that game last season helped in keeping us in Division One.
Lewis Hall opened the scoring for us in that game, grabbing the opener in the first 30 minutes of the game. The lead was doubled through Charlie Webster who scored from the spot.
Andrew Moran pulled a goal back 10 minutes from time but we held on and secured a much-needed victory.
Our opponents
After no wins in their first four games of the season, our opponents today have shown good form of late. Their last three games have seen them go unbeaten.
In that run their was an impressive 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
