Chelsea Under-21s will return to the Premier League International Cup this season as fixtures and venues have been confirmed for the group stage of the European competition.
Filipe Coelho’s Under-21s squad has been drawn in Group D of this season's Premier League International Cup, alongside RB Leipzig, Anderlecht, Real Sociedad and Sporting Lisbon.
In our previous outing in this prestigious competition last season, we reached the quarter-finals under former Under-21s head coach Mark Robinson.
During that run, we showed a dominant performance against Dinamo Zagreb, winning 4-1, before securing a 3-1 victory over Celtic. After a 1-1 draw against Valencia, the team advanced to the quarter-finals, where we fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat to 2023 champions PSV Eindhoven.
New format
The Premier League International Cup is now expanded, with 32 teams split into four groups of eight teams, four English sides from the Premier League 2 and four from other European countries.
We will only play against the foreign clubs in the group, with all our fixtures being hosted at home. Only the top two teams in the group will qualify and enter the knockout stages.
The full fixture list for our Premier League International Cup group campaign is outlined below. Fixture dates, times and venues are subject to change, and the club will notify supporters if there are any alterations.
