As part of the experience, the two were first to greet the squad as they got off the team bus, before enjoying lunch in the press room and then watching the warm-ups from pitchside.

Rayan and David then met Chelsea legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and current Blues star Jadon Sancho.

Rayan said: ‘I do not get to go out as often as I would like due to my hospital appointments and treatments. The experience of getting to meet some of the players was incredible and I was lucky enough to go on the pitch before anyone else and watch the warm-up. Thank you Chelsea Foundation for an amazing opportunity.’

David said: ‘I would like to thank Chelsea Foundation for an unforgettable trip to Stamford Bridge to see Chelsea v Ipswich. It was a dream come true to meet the team and high-five with all the players on the way in. Meeting Jimmy and Jadon Sancho was the best moment and to see Jadon score a brilliant goal on the day was terrific.’
