It is one of the most eagerly anticipated days for gamers ahead of the arrival of EA SPORTS FC 24, with player ratings for the new edition of the game being confirmed.
There is added interest this year as PlayStyles will be included in the game for the first time, which are traits and abilities that mirror the real-life capabilities of players.
Introducing PlayStyles
For the first time in EAFC 24, EA SPORTS, powered by Opta’s renowned player data analysis, can accurately assign PlayStyles based on real-life performance. This allows gamers to create stronger squads by understanding how players actually play.
For Guro Reiten for instance, the proficiencies rack up with Finesse shot, Dead ball, Incisive pass, Whipped pass, Rapid, Quick step and Relentless all on her PlayStyles list, the first of those highlighting that she is known to try to place the ball when shooting at goal.
Enzo Fernandez’s attributes are Long ball pass, Slide tackle, Flair, First touch, Press proven, Relentless, and Trivela for his PlayStyles, that final signature characteristic highlighting his skill using the outside of the boot to accept the ball.
PlayStyles+ goes a step further by enhancing these abilities and giving them skills no other player can match.
Six Chelsea players have been allocated a PlayStyle+ in EAFC 24, with Thiago Silva awarded Anticipate + status, and Sam Kerr given Power header +.
