Robert Sanchez’s incredible stop to deny Brenford's Christian Norgaard is among the nominees for the Premier League’s best save in December.

The Blues went head-to-head with the Bees last month and after Marc Cucurella had put us into the lead before the break, we found ourselves under pressure from our west London neighbours heading into the latter stages of the contest.

Holding on to a narrow one-nil lead at Stamford Bridge, Norgaard - unmarked at the back-post - volleyed a powerful effort towards goal which forced Sanchez to make an instinctive reaction save to tip the ball over the crossbar, denying Brentford's skipper.

Following that impressive save, the Blues went up the other end and made it two thanks to Nicolas Jackson as we eventually secured all three points.

The Spaniard has already won the Save of the Month prize this season for his stunning stop against Nottingham Forest back in October, while also securing the award during the 2023/24 campaign as a Blue.

The other nominees include David Raya (Arsenal), Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest), Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa), Stefan Ortega (Manchester City) and Christian Walton (Ipswich Town).

Voting closes at 2pm UK time on Friday, January 10 and you can vote for Sanchez here!
