Teddy Sharman-Lowe has committed his future to Chelsea by signing a new one-year contract, with an option for an additional year.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been with the club since joining from Burton Albion in the summer of 2020 and has been capped by England up to Under-20s level.
After a spell back on loan with the Brewers, Sharman-Lowe made a number of appearances for our Under-21s during the 2021/22 campaign and was among the men’s team substitutes for Carabao Cup and FA Cup ties.
The keeper spent 2023 on loan, first with Havant & Waterlooville and then at Bromley, but returned in January of this year to help our Under-21s reach the semi-finals in the Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup. That was combined with senior duties, supporting our men’s goalkeepers and being on the bench in the Premier League for the first time.
Congratulations, Teddy!
