Blues head coach Sonia Bompastor insists her side won't take their foot off the gas when we return to UEFA Champions League action to host FC Twente in our penultimate Group B fixture.

The Blues host the reigning Dutch champions at Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening in our final home match in the group stages of this season's European competition, before our final encounter comes next week away to Real Madrid.

Having won all four of our group matches already this season, Bompastor's side qualified for March's quarter-finals with two games to spare. But, that does not mean there will be any sense of complacency from the Blues.

'We just want to keep going and keep winning,' Bompastor told the media in her pre-match press conference. 'It's part of our mentality. It's part of the DNA of the club.

'We never take anything for granted. Every game is really important. We want to keep our good dynamic, our good results and the main goal in this group is for us to stay in first place at the top of the table. We still have two games left and we want to win both.'

Like she has done right the way through the season, Bompastor plans on utilising all of the available players in her squad as we look to achieve our goal in the remaining two Champions League group matches.

'We play so many games and when you play for a club like Chelsea, you know as a player, you will be involved in the games at one point,' our head coach added. 'We play so many games, so everyone is important. You cannot expect to win titles with 11 players.

'It's an opportunity for me to rotate the squad sometimes and just to show my trust to my players and the squad.

'Tomorrow the game is really important. Our main goal is to finish at the top of the table - we haven't achieved that yet.- so we are really focused and we want to win the game tomorrow. It's that simple.'

Bompastor also confirmed who will be missing from tomorrow's match, while revealing that Niamh Charles could be in line to make her first Champions League appearance of the season. The defender played for the first time this term when she came off the bench for the second half in Sunday's league win against Brighton & Hove Albion.

'Sandy Baltimore won't be available again tomorrow,' Bompastor told the media at Cobham. 'She is still being assessed for her knee. We'll see how she progresses day by day, but everyone else is good.

'Niamh played 45 minutes against Brighton on Sunday and she's fine. She's ready to be in the squad and, maybe, start tomorrow.'

In our previous European match against Celtic last month, Academy product Lola Brown made her senior debut for the club. It was a week to remember for the 17-year-old who also signed her first professional contract with Chelsea only days earlier.

Bompastor confirmed the teenage midfielder will be in the matchday squad for our clash with FC Twente as she explained why it is vital youngsters like Brown are continually exposed to high-level environments.

'Lola is part of the Academy and has been practicing with us for a few weeks now,' our head coach said. 'It's really good just to have the opportunity to bring these young players into our environment and also for them to learn about how to become a professional player by being with our senior squad.

'They can practice with us and see the high intensity we have in our environment. It's different from playing with young players and having the opportunity to come in for Champions League games, that's a great experience for them and for Lola.

'Lola will be involved in the squad tomorrow and we'll see if she has the opportunity to come in or not.'
