After guiding the Blues to the top of the table, head coach Sonia Bompastor has been nominated for November’s Women’s Super League Manager of the Month award.

The 44-year-old – who won the prize in September and was also nominated in October – led her side to wins against Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United this month with 11 goals scored and none conceded.

Those victories helped the Blues move five points clear at the summit and after defeating Man Utd last weekend, we remain the only unbeaten team in the WSL, having won each of our eight league games thus far.

Bompastor also broke individual records this month, as following our victory against Manchester City, she became the first head coach to win their opening seven games in their debut WSL season.

Sonia has been nominated for this month’s award alongside Arsenal’s Renee Slegers and Brighton & Hove Albion’s Dario Vidosic.

Voting is now open and will close at 11am on Monday 2 December. You can cast your vote for Sonia here!

Congratulations, Sonia!
