Chelsea new signings 2024

Tosin Adarabioyo

Central defender Adarabioyo has joined on a free transfer from our west London neighbours Fulham. He has signed a four-year deal having started his career at Manchester City.

Estevao Willian

The exciting young Brazilian will join Chelsea from Palmeiras next summer. The 17-year-old winger has already built a strong reputation as one of the hottest prospects in South America.

Omari Kellyman

Kellyman is an 18-year-old attacking midfielder who has signed from Aston Villa on a six-year deal.

Marc Guiu

Spanish striker Guiu joins from Barcelona, where he scored a winning goal in the first minute of his professional career. The 18-year-old has penned a five-year deal.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Dewsbury-Hall will link up with his former Leicester boss Enzo Maresca after agreeing a five-year contract at Chelsea. The midfielder played for the Foxes almost 200 times and was their Player of the Year last season.

Renato Veiga

Veiga is a versatile Portuguese youth international who signed from Basel in Switzerland. The 20-year-old can play in defence or midfield, and agreed a seven-year contract.

Caleb Wiley

Wiley is a young left-back from America who agreed a six-year contract and joined Strasbourg on loan for the campaign after representing his nation during the Olympics.

Filip Jorgensen

Goalkeeper Jorgensen joined from Villarreal, signing a seven-year contract, and immediately linked up with his new teammates during our USA Tour.

Aaron Anselmino

Chelsea announced the signing of Anselmino in August 2024 after the Argentinian defender signed a seven-year contract with the Blues. He will continue his development back with Boca Juniors on loan.

Pedro Neto

Exciting attacker Pedro Neto swapped Wolves for Chelsea earlier this month, signing a seven-year contract. The 24-year-old began his career at Braga in his native Portugal.

Joao Felix

Joao Felix returned to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid on a permanent deal having enjoyed a loan spell at Stamford Bridge during the 2022/23 campaign. He agreed a seven-year contract.

Mike Penders

The young Belgian goalkeeper Penders will officially join from Genk in the summer of 2025 after agreeing a seven-year deal.

Jadon Sancho

The England international joined the club on loan from Manchester United, with the Blues having an obligation to sign the England international permanently next summer.

Chelsea new contracts summer 2024

Tyrique George

The Academy forward has signed a new contract until 2027, with a one-year option. Last season, George played prominent roles across two of our Academy sides and scored several eye-catching goals. He was also on the bench for the first team on three occasions.

Kaiden Wilson

The defender signed a new two-year contract, which includes a further one-year option. He has been at Chelsea since he was 13 and was a regular in the team that won the Under-18 Premier League South title last season.

Richard Olise

The defender has signed a new one-year contract with the club, including the option for an additional year. He featured ten times for our Under-21s last season.

Frankie Runham

Young attacker Runham signed a new three-year contract with the Blues in July. He played important roles in our Under-18 Premier League South title win and our Under-17 Premier League Cup triumph.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan

Chelsea Academy striker Jimmy-Jay Morgan agreed a new contract until 2027. He netted 16 times for our Under-21s last term.

Cole Palmer

Our Player of the Year last season signed a two-year contract extension until 2033 in mid-August.

Shaun Wade

Academy winger agreed a three-year deal having broken into our Under-21 side last season.

Ollie Harrison

Academy midfielder Ollie Harrison signed his first professional contract with Chelsea on 17 August.

Samuel Rak-Sakyi

Samuel Rak-Sakyi, who has been at Chelsea since he was eight, signed a new two-year contract with the club.

Chelsea departures summer 2024

Thiago Silva

It was a fond farewell to Thiago who has returned to his native Brazil to join boyhood club Fluminense after four years as a Chelsea player in which he won the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup.

Dion Rankine

The versatile winger or wing-back joined Wigan Athletic in a permanent deal after eight years at Chelsea.

Charlie Webster

Webster linked up with his former Under-21 coach at Chelsea Mark Robinson when he signed for League One Burton Albion on a permanent deal. He first joined the Blues at Under-10 level and was an unused substitute once.

Jamie Cumming

The goalkeeper had a successful loan at Oxford United last season as they won promotion to the Championship and the move has now been made permanent.

Ian Maatsen

The Dutch full-back made his Chelsea debut against Grimsby Town in September 2019, the first of 16 appearances for the club. He has signed for Aston Villa.

Michael Golding

Academy graduate joined the Blues as an Under-12 and made his first team debut in January 2023 as a substitute in our FA Cup third round win against Preston North End. The 18-year-old joined Leicester City on a permanent transfer in early-July.

Omari Hutchinson

The attacker joined from Arsenal in 2022 and played twice in January 2023. Had a very successful loan spell at Ipswich Town, who he helped earn promotion to the Premier League, last season, and has now made the move permanent.

Lewis Hall

Academy graduate who made his senior debut in January 2022, the first of 12 Chelsea appearances. Has now completed a permanent switch to Newcastle after spending last season on loan in the North-East.

Hakim Ziyech

The Moroccan joined Chelsea in 2020 and leaves for Galatasaray as a Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup winner. In all he made 107 appearances for us and scored 14 goals.

Malang Sarr

French defender Sarr played 21 games for the Blues during the 2021/2022 season. He joined Lens in his native France after his departure.

Diego Moreira

Moreira signed for Strasbourg in a permanent deal, returning to France where he spent much of last season on loan at Lyon.

Mason Burstow

We bid farewell to Burstow who joined Hull City. He made three appearances for us last season having arrived from Charlton in 2022.

Chinonso Chibueze

Signed for Championship club Stoke City having been at Chelsea since the Under-10 age group.

Conor Gallagher

The Academy graduate's long association with Chelsea came to an end when he joined Atletico Madrid. Gallagher made 95 appearances for the Blues, scoring 10 times.

Tino Anjorin

The Chelsea Academy graduate, who first joined the club at the age of six and was part of our Champions League-winning squad in 2021, joined Empoli in a permanent transfer.

Romelu Lukaku

The striker's three-year spell with the club came to an end when he joined Napoli on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.

Saheed Olagunju

Academy defender has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a permanent transfer, having signed for the Blues from Charlton Athletic as a Under-12.

Billy Gee

Defender, who joined Chelsea as an Under-8 and was on the bench for the Carabao Cup final earlier this year, has signed permanently for Norwich City.

We also bid farewell to Josh Brooking and Noah Hay from the Chelsea Academy at the end of their contracts.

Chelsea loans summer 2024

Teddy Sharman-Lowe

The goalkeeper has signed a new one-year contract and joined League Two Doncaster Rovers on loan for the 2024/25 campaign.

Ted Curd

Also a young keeper, Curd has moved to Hampton & Richmond Borough in the National League South as he continues to gain experience of men’s football.

Dylan Williams

The left-back has been loaned to Burton Albion for the forthcoming campaign, with an option to make the move permanent.

Alfie Gilchrist

Gilchrist, who made his breakthrough into the Chelsea senior team last season, has signed for Sheffield United in the Championship.

Caleb Wiley

The American joined Strasbourg on loan for the season, after signing for Chelsea this summer.

Luke Campbell

Eighteen-year-old goalkeeper Campbell is at Hendon for the season having been a regular for our youth team last term.

Andrey Santos

The Brazilian midfielder returned to Strasbourg on loan having spent the second half of last season with the French side.

Gaga Slonina

American goalkeeper Slonina is with Barnsley for the season, his first taste of senior English football.

Aaron Anselmino

The Argentinean defender returned to Boca Juniors on loan after signing for Chelsea.

Eddie Beach

The goalkeeper will continue his development on loan at Crawley Town. He is a Welsh Under-21 international.

Lesley Ugochukwu

Ugochukwu, who played 15 times for Chelsea last season, is continuing his development on loan at Southampton in the Premier League.

Bashir Humphreys

Humphreys, who spent last season at Swansea, will be with Burnley in the Championship for the current campaign.

Leo Castledine

The Academy midfielder, who made his Chelsea debut in January, will spend the 2024/25 campaign with Shrewsbury Town in League One.

Kepa Arrizabalaga

On the penultimate day of the transfer window, the Spanish goalkeeper signed a one-year contract extension and joined Bournemouth on loan for the season.

Djordje Petrovic

Chelsea goalkeeper joined the Blues last summer from New England Revolution and made 31 appearances, including a start in the Carabao Cup final. The 24-year-old has joined French top flight side RC Strasbourg on loan for the season.

Ronnie Stutter

Chelsea striker, who joined the Blues from West Ham United at Under-14s level, has signed a season-long loan deal with Burton Albion.

Trevoh Chalobah

The Academy graduate secured a season-long loan move to Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day.

Raheem Sterling

The 29-year-old joined Arsenal on a season-long loan on the final day of the window.

Armando Broja

Cobham graduate Broja moved to Everton on deadline day on a season-long loan.
