Lucky competition winners got to meet legendary former Chelsea captain John Terry at Stamford Bridge before Sunday’s match against Inter Milan.

The Blues hosted the Italian champions in west London in our final pre-season match before the 2024/25 Premier League campaign gets under way against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge this coming Sunday.

A late Lesley Ugochukwu equaliser secured a 1-1 draw for Chelsea against Inter and put smiles on the home fans’ faces, but there were plenty of grins already on display for some supporters before kick-off, as they got to meet our captain, leader, legend John Terry.

First among them were Koby Chittock and Harley Cable, who won the opportunity for a meet and greet with Terry in the Rose & Ball at the Bridge after being picked in the random prize draw for supporters purchasing Westview and Club Chelsea tickets to the game.

The pair were able to chat to our legendary skipper – who made a record 492 Premier League appearances for the club while leading us to five top-flight titles and a first Champions League triumph – as well as getting photos and autographs, before enjoying the Club Chelsea pre-match refreshments.

Terry also took time to meet other Club Chelsea ticket holders in the Diamond Suites and Dugout Club, before walking back out onto the Stamford Bridge pitch where he enjoyed so much success during his playing career, to welcome the Blues supporters to our stadium during the pre-match warm-ups.
