The matchday programme is back for the new season – find out what’s in this Sunday’s publication for our game against Tottenham Hotspur and how you can get your hands on a copy.
Blues chairman and co-owner Todd Boehly addresses supporters in his first set of programme notes at the start of a new era. The revamped publication is filled with original features, as well as some of your old favourites and exclusive interview content.
Trevoh Chalobah is the first player to open up for the in-depth profile interviews we’ll be featuring throughout this season. Following a breakthrough year in 2021/22, our Academy graduate was on top form when he reflected on his life in football so far.
There’s plenty of praise for his brother Nathaniel, a former Blue, and the impact he and some of the big names from our Academy had on his formative years in the game.
‘Nathaniel always had that character, that captain character,’ Trevoh told us. ‘Even at junior international level, it was the same. He’s always been that figure, loud and confident.
‘When I was younger, I would say I was the opposite and that’s something I’ve had to work on – being louder and being that confident figure. I didn’t really believe in myself until Under-16s, when I started growing and getting that more physical side of the game.
‘I remember when I first came to Chelsea, at Under-9s, when I was joining Mason Mount, Declan Rice, Eddie Nketiah – all of those guys were there. And it was tough because I was coming from Sunday league football to then transition into playing against academy lads. It was difficult for the first few years.’
Each of this season’s domestic programmes will also feature an in-depth look at a classic Premier League campaign – and with the 30-year anniversary of the top-flight’s rebranding upon us, we start with the ground-breaking 1992/93 season.
As well as looking back on the campaign as a whole in Premier League Years, Pat Nevin looks at the rivalry between Chelsea and Tottenham during this time, and club historian Rick Glanvill’s new 90x30 feature – focusing on the defining 90 minutes of each of our 30 campaigns in the division – recalls our first Super Sunday appearance. Blues legend Steve Clarke, meanwhile, talks about the changing times from a players’ perspective in our first ‘Words On…’ feature.
We also hear from all the head coaches across the club. Thomas Tuchel talks us through his summer, Emma Hayes reflects on the Lionesses success at the Euros, and Ed Brand and Mark Robinson bring us up to speed with our Under-18s and Development Squad.
The cover price of the programme remains £3.50 for the new season. You can purchase copies on a game-by-game basis, either from Stamford Bridge on a matchday, inside the stadium Megastore or from the website of our official programme partner, Reach Sport.

Fans are also reminded that there are pages dedicated to supporters young and old as our popular message board spread is there for you to surprise friends and family, pay tribute to those we’ve lost or to simply share with the world your love of the Blues!
