Enzo Maresca has confirmed Reece James, Romeo Lavia and Noni Madueke are all fit and available to face Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening.

The Blues welcome the Cherries to London on Tuesday night looking to build on the weekend’s FA Cup victory over Morecambe, which we won 5-0 on Saturday.

While Andoni Iraola’s side will offer a different test in the Premier League this week, our head coach is looking forward to the game and is pleased to welcome Madueke back to the squad following illness and confirmed that both James and Lavia are fine after featuring for 45 minutes against the Shrimps at the weekend – although both will be managed carefully.

‘Yes, Reece and Romeo are okay [for Bournemouth], we are very happy for both,’ Enzo confirmed at his pre-match press conference.

‘They played 45 mins the other day [against Morecambe] and are available for the next game. They are available and as we said, we will try to manage both because they are a bit of a delicate situation.

‘Noni is back and he’s available after illness. He’s trained with us and he’s 100 per cent fit for tomorrow.’

Bournemouth are flying high in the Premier League this season, currently occupying seventh place in the table and dreaming of bringing European football to the Vitality Stadium next season.

While many may not have predicted the Cherries to be in this position at this stage of the campaign, it doesn’t surprise Maresca who believes the pressing intensity shown by Iraola’s side is a catalyst for their strong season so far.

However, Maresca has confidence in his players to build on Saturday’s big win over Morecambe and secure the points in the Premier League on Tuesday.

‘For sure winning games breeds confidence, and always it helps you to continue to win,’ added the head coach. ‘After the win over Morecambe, hopefully we can build some momentum now.

‘Of course, Bournemouth will be a totally different game. They are a very good team, with a very good manager and it will be a different challenge. They are very tough, and they press with real intensity which makes it difficult for teams.

‘That is the reason I think why they are doing well. Not only this season but also last season too, because they are very good at pressing.

‘They always try to be intense and it’s quite clear what they do on and off the ball. They are direct, physically very strong and quick. So we know it will be a tough game.’
