Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz are both in the running to win the March Premier League Goal of the Month award.

Both of Chelsea's nominated goals come from the same game, a thrilling 3-1 win away at Leicester City.

We had already taken the lead once through a fine Ben Chilwell volley when Kai Havertz restored our advantage on the stroke of half-time, by deftly lifting a volley over goalkeeper Danny Ward after being found with a delightful scooped pass over the Leicester back line by Enzo Fernandez.

The duo had a big hand in Mateo Kovacic's shortlisted goal from that game too, as the move started with Enzo feeding Havertz in space on the right with another impressive pass. The German's cross looked a little deep, but Mykhailo Mudryk did well to head it back into danger, where Kovacic showed great agility to wrap the outside of his boot around the ball and send an airborne volley into the back of the net.

Our victory at the King Power Stadium certainly seems to have caught the eye, as Patson Daka is also nominated for his goal for Leicester against Chelsea in that same game, while the two Blues face further competition for the award from the other March nominees - Cody Gakpo (Liverpool), Jack Harrison (Leeds United), Alexander Isak (Newcastle United), Jonny Otto (Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Reiss Nelson (Arsenal).

You can cast your vote for Kai or Mateo to receive the Premier League's March Goal of the Month award until midday on Monday 27 March, with the winner being revealed at 1pm on Friday 31 March.
