The hard work continued on Friday as Chelsea’s players stepped up preparations ahead of the second game of our tour of the USA.

It was an early start for the Blues as they had breakfast at the hotel in East Palo Alto before travelling to the nearby Stanford Stadium for training at 10am.

The players had a pre-activation session in the gym before heading out to the pitch, where head coach Enzo Maresca continued to work with his squad during the closed training session ahead of the match with Celtic on Saturday.

The squad then returned to the hotel for lunch before heading to the airport in San Jose for a five-hour flight to Indiana, before concluding the day by checking in to their hotel.

The Blues have their second game of the USA tour on Saturday afternoon against Scottish giants Celtic, with kick-off at 4pm local time, 1pm PT and 9pm BST.

Tickets are still available for the match at Notre Dame Stadium and can be purchased here.
