Our young Blues will be looking to secure their first win of the this year's UEFA Youth League as one point from their opening two games leaves them bottom of Group E.
Ed Brand's side will be looking to build from their draw against RB Salzburg last time out in the competition as they go up against AC Milan in a game live on BT Sport, scheduled to kick-off at 3pm.
After a loss against GNK Dinamo and a 1-1 draw against the young Red Bulls, a win is needed against the undefeated AC Milan to give us the best chance of qualifying into the next round of this competition.
Jimi Tauriainen's words
Jimi Tauriainen who started the opening two games of the UYL this season spoke to us about how excited he is to play in the competition.
'I really enjoy this competition because it gives you a chance to play against the very best in Europe, so I am always excited to do this. It does mean that there is more pressure to perform but I think it is good for my development.'
He added: 'I started as a striker when I came to Chelsea but in since my injury, I have come back as a midfielder and Ed believed in my abilities to play well there.'
The midfielder returned from a long-term knee injury and has been a key figure in Ed Brand's side this year. He now wants to repay the faith shown in his coach by helping his team get their first win.
'As a group we have good chemistry and the coaching team believe in us a lot, we are still developing as players but we have good quality.
'We believe we can beat anyone and it is down to us to show that in today's game.'
Last time out
In our last group game we drew 1-1 to RB Salzburg at Cobham with Lewis Hall getting our solitary goal on the day.
It looked like it would be the winner, however seven minutes from time the away side grabbed an equaliser through Federico Crescenti which prevented a win and a clean sheet.
Our opponents
AC Milan are unbeaten in Group E following a draw against Salzburg and a 3-0 win against GNK Dinamo in the last round of fixtures.
They are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions so will be a tough test for our young Blues.
