April proved an important month for Chelsea across our men's, women's and Academy sides. High-profile victories were secured at home and abroad, a trophy was lifted, and several excellent goals were scored.

Our men's side recorded two standout victories at Stamford Bridge in April. The first was over Manchester United and came courtesy of a 101st-minute winner from Cole Palmer, who completed his first Blues hat-trick in the process.

Palmer's second treble for Chelsea arrived in our next outing on home soil against Everton. It began with a wonderfully taken goal that included a nutmeg, a little flick to exchange passes with Nicolas Jackson, and an exquisite finish.

It ended with a looping effort from 35 yards after the England international had intercepted a pass from Toffees goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. The Blues went on win 6-0, Palmer ended the night with four goals.

Conor Gallagher was another member of the men's team to produce a Goal of the Month contender. The Academy graduate struck a wonderful curled effort away at Aston Villa to draw the Blues level in a game that ended 2-2.

The focus for our Women's side in April was reaching the Champions League final. Barcelona stood in the way. We travelled to Catalonia for the first leg and came away with a historic victory.

Erin Cuthbert's excellently taken goal proved the winner. The Scot collected a pass from Sjoeke Nusken and fired into the net to inflict Barcelona's first defeat on home soil in five years. Unfortunately, we were beaten 2-0 in controversial circumstances in the second leg.

Elsewhere, our Under-21s made good progress in Premier League 2 to secure a play-off spot. Deivid Washington's strike against Crystal Palace makes our Goal of the Month shortlist.

The Under-18s, meanwhile, continued on the road to winning the Under-18 Premier League South title – their standout goals during April were netted by Shumaira Mheuka, Ato Ampah, and Reiss Denny.

And finally, the Blues were crowed Under-17 Premier League Cup champions after a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. Rio Ngumoha and Frankie Runham both struck fine goals in the final and have been included in our shortlist.
