Eight fantastic strikes across our men’s, women’s and Academy sides are competing to be named as Chelsea’s Goal of the Month for December.

The final month of 2023 saw the Blues defeat Brighton, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace at home in the Premier League, while also progressing to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup by edging out Newcastle on penalties.

Elsewhere, Emma Hayes’ side saw off Bristol City and Hacken in the WSL and Champions League respectively, whilst we have goal nominations from both our U21 and U18 sides.

You can pick your favourite strike from the eight nominations in our poll below, with the winner set to be announced via Chelsea channels soon.

Enzo vs Brighton (H)

First on our list is Enzo’s headed goal against Brighton – his first for Chelsea in the Premier League. The Argentine was first to react to Benoit Badiashile’s cross, leaping to head home from close range.

Cole Palmer vs Sheffield United (H)

In the first of two entries on this list, Cole Palmer’s opening attempt comes from our home victory over Sheffield United, where he starts and ends a flowing move. After playing a pass to Raheem Sterling, Palmer surges into the box where he meets Sterling’s centre and slams the ball home.

Tyrique George vs Luton U21 (A)

A stunning long-range drive from George is deservedly amongst this month’s nominations, following a fine strike against Luton U21s at Kenilworth Road. George takes a pass in his stride before hammering the ball into the top corner from 35 yards out.

Harrison McMahon vs West Brom U18 (H)

A fine solo goal from McMahon is our sole U18 entry for the December GOTM vote, with the versatile midfielder catching the eye with this strike. McMahon picks up the ball on the edge of the box, jinks past a defender before firing a left-footed drive into the top corner against the Baggies.

Lauren James vs Bristol City (A)

A stunning effort from Lauren James in next on the list, with the Chelsea Women forward helping the Blues defeat Bristol City. Picking the ball up midway in the Robins half, James surges forward before arrowing a shot into the far corner and leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

Erin Cuthbert vs Bristol City (A)

Our second entry from the women’s side comes from the same game, with Cuthbert’s precise volley into the bottom corner earning her a deserved nomination.

Mykhailo Mudryk vs Newcastle (H)

The penultimate entry comes from the Carabao Cup – and what an important goal it was. Mudryk was on target late on to send the game to penalties, after he capitalised on a defensive mistake before placing the ball into the far corner.

Cole Palmer vs Luton (A)

The final entry on the list comes from Cole and his composed strike against Luton. Driving towards the Hatters' defence, the 21-year-old weaved in between the onrushing goalkeeper and defenders before calmly slotting home, turning towards the Chelsea away support to celebrate his ice-cold finish.

The winning strike will be announced later this week via the Official Chelsea app, the club website and our social media channels.
