There is plenty for supporters to chew over from across the club, including two Raheem Sterling goals against Newcastle and Blackburn, plus an impressive strike from Thiago Silva during that thrilling encounter with Manchester City.

It was an unbeaten month from our women’s side with Sam Kerr, Lauren James and Aggie Beever-Jones earning their rightful places on the shortlist.

Meanwhile, Tyrique George made it back-to-back nominations for the monthly prize, following his strike against Blackburn Rovers in the U18 Premier League Cup.

Sterling v Blackburn (H)

After good pressure from the Blues, Sterling’s side-footed finish inside the box sealed the victory against the Rovers in the round of 16 Carabao Cup tie.

Beever-Jones v Everton Women (A)

Heading towards another important Barclays Women’s Super League victory, striker Beever-Jones put the gloss on the scoreline with an emphatic strike into the roof of the net.

Thiago Silva v Manchester City (H)

A pinpoint corner from Conor Gallagher was met sweetly by Thiago Silva who emphatically levelled the match for the Blues, in one of the games of the season so far at the Bridge.

James v Liverpool (H)

Great work from Kerr opened the opportunity for James to grab her second of the day, with the winger producing a curled left-footed effort which nestled into the far corner.

Kerr v Paris FC (H)

From playing provider to etching her name onto the scoresheet, Kerr’s chipped finish in the Women’s Champions League completed a memorable hat-trick.

George v Blackburn U18s (H)

The academy’s sole representative on the list of nominations, George fired the ball into the top corner against Rovers to secure all three points in the PL Cup.

Sterling v Newcastle (A)

The final strike up for the GOTM gong comes from Sterling – his second on the list. Producing a magical moment from a free-kick, the 28-year-old’s set-piece was placed neatly into the top corner against the Magpies.
