Kai Havertz v Burnley
A fine cross by Reece James was nodded in with striker’s instinct from Kai Havertz in our draw with Burnley at the Bridge in early November. It was some header from the German, who used the pace of the cross from James to glace the ball home.
N'Golo Kante v Leicester
A sublime solo goal from N’Golo Kante at the King Power Stadium of course makes the cut. Weaving his way through numerous challenges in the middle of the pitch, N’Golo worked the ball onto is left-foot before guiding the ball past a stretching Kasper Schmeichel.
Fran Kirby v Birmingham
After the ball fell to Fran Kirby on the edge of the box, the attacker needed no touch before chipping the Birmingham goalkeeper Marie Hourihan from 18-yards.
Charlie Webster v Malmo – UEFA Youth League
A spectacular volley from young Chelsea’s midfielder Charlie Webster kicks off November’s Goal of the Month shortlist. Despite being 4-0 up in the UEFA Youth League, Andy Myers’ side didn’t give up their chances of notching another, and it was some goal as the midfielder volleyed in a deep cross from the back post.
Tudor Mendel-Idowu v Crystal Palace - U18 Premier League
A screamer from Chelsea Under-18s star Tudor Mendel-Idowu in our 4-3 win at Crystal Palace is second on the list. After being played in 20-years from goal, Mendel-Idwou needed just one touch to push the ball onto his left-foot before striking the ball across the goalkeeper and into the top corner.
Reece James v Juventus
Yet another Goal of the Month contender for Reece James as his strike against Juventus at the Bridge makes the list. After Chilwell’s cross was cleared by Matthijs de Ligt, James took the ball down perfectly on his chest and smashed the ball into the back of the net.
Melanie Leupolz v Servette
A fierce strike from Melanie Leupolz was the first of seven goals as Chelsea Women dominated Servette in Switzerland. After Millie Bright picked her out, the German midfield fired a shot into the top corner.
Lewis Baker v Crystal Palace - Development Squad PL2
Lewis Baker’s stunning free-kick against Crystal Palace for the development squad easily makes the Goal of the Month list. The midfielder bent the ball over the Palace wall, with the goalkeeper left with no chance.
Hakim Ziyech v Malmo
A fine Chelsea move was finished off by Hakim Ziyech in Chelsea’s last Champions League away day. After great link-up play between Kai Havertz and Callum Hudson-Odoi, the German played the right-winger in down the right-hand side whose inch perfect cross was tapped home by Ziyech.
Jessie Fleming v Aston Villa
Chelsea dictated proceedings from the start in the win over Aston Villa just under a month ago and went ahead on 22 minutes. Ji found Fleming with a chipped ball over the top of the Villa defence and Fleming took one touch before finding the bottom corner.
