Chelsea FC and Tempus Ex have partnered to deliver fans with the best experience in streaming and live content, starting with our game against Wrexham in the USA on 19 July.
The game at Chapel Hill’s Kenan Memorial Stadium will see the launch of the new Tempus Ex technology product Match View X meaning for the first time ever, Chelsea will enable fans to tailor their match-viewing experience by turning on or off graphic overlays, statistics, play-by-play match events, and real-time player tracking, or watching instant highlights of key moments.
MVX will be available in the Official Chelsea App for all the games on our USA Tour 2023, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to see Mauricio Pochettino’s first game as head coach as we take on the Red Dragons in North Carolina.
‘By integrating our MVX technology within the Official Chelsea App, we are able to deliver the very first fully bespoke experience for Chelsea FC fans, providing augmented stats and interactive video creating a viewing opportunity that’s never been done before,’ said Charlie Ebersol, founder and CEO, Tempus Ex Machina.
‘Powered by our proprietary FusionFeed AI, MVX will create an experience that puts fans in the driver's seat, with complete control of how much or how little they want to add or overlay on the match broadcast.’
‘Thanks to the revolutionary Tempus Ex technology, MVX will give our fans the power to create their very own personalised viewing experience, right at their fingertips,’ said Chris Jurasek, chief executive of Chelsea FC. ‘We’re excited to be able to share this for the first time when we play Wrexham as part of our pre-season. We are confident that MVX will excite our fans and our partners and create an original way of getting even closer to the action. We are on a multi-year journey to innovate the fan experience at Chelsea and this is an important step in delivering on that ambition.’
Tempus Ex’s MVX technology is available to any sports property for integration and provides viewers with high-quality AI-driven personalised elements including graphic overlays, match statistics, automated highlights, augmented reality (AR), real-time player tracking and more.
