Robert Sanchez produced in a string of top drawer stops to help us secure victory at Bournemouth, including a brilliant penalty save, and you can watch them all right here.
There were plenty of performances to be proud of in the Chelsea ranks at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening, as Christopher Nkunku's late goal gave us a 1-0 win.
The scorer rightly earned praise for his beautifully-taken strike, as did Jadon Sancho for his game-changing introduction and assist on his debut, but no-one did more to help us secure that victory over Bournemouth than Sanchez.
In total over the 90 minutes, the Cherries managed seven shots on target, but our goalkeeper was equal to all of them. They came at big moments too, with the game finely poised at 0-0 for so long before we found the winner.
No wonder he was chosen as our Man of the Match by supporters on the official Chelsea app, receiving 55 per cent of the votes.
The most important was arguably his penalty save, coming seven minutes before half-time, when the Spaniard flung himself towards his bottom-left corner to palm away Evanilson's spot-kick and keep the scores level going into the break.
You can see that and all the rest of Sanchez's saves against Bournemouth in the video above, and hear from the man himself below.
‘I'm happy. It’s the closest thing you can get to scoring a goal as a keeper,' Sanchez said after the final whistle at the Vitality Stadium.
'You make a penalty save, a few good saves in the game, a lot of actions and keep a clean sheet, so I’m over the moon.’
