The October international break is now underway, and while several of our players are away representing their countries the hard work continues at Cobham for the remainder of the Blues' squad.

Having been afforded a day off following our 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest on Sunday, those not selected for international duty reported back to Cobham today to train under the watchful eye of Enzo Maresca and his coaching staff.

Goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli remains at base, as do central defensive trio Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile and TosinAdarabioyo. Ben Chilwell is also among those out on the training pitches while Reece James is continuing his recovery from injury.

Having made his return from injury against Brighton, Romeo Lavia has an opportunity to work on his fitness during the break.

Fellow midfielders Cesare Casadei, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka also remain at Cobham while Jadon Sancho, fresh off another start in blue against Forest, is with the group.

It is on October 20 that the Blues' Premier League campaign resumes as we travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.
