Supporters wishing to donate warm clothing to be distributed to those in need across our local community can do so prior to the Premier League match versus Aston Villa...
Chelsea Football Club, Chelsea Foundation and the Chelsea Supporters' Trust are working in partnership with charities tackling homelessness across London this Christmas and beyond in the Wrap Up Warm initiative launched earlier in the month.
Collection points
At Stamford Bridge, the matchday drop-off point is situated at Stamford Gate behind the security checkpoints. On Sunday it will be open from 11am until kick-off.
The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust will be operating a clothing collection point alongside their foodbank collection, outside the Stoll building on Fulham Road, between Fulham Broadway Station and the Britannia Entrance to Stamford Bridge. That is between 11.30am and 1pm.
Examples of items that will be welcomed at both collection are:
All preferably new or gently used
Warm winter coats
Winter hats
Gloves Jumpers/hoodies
Trousers
Shoes
New, we cannot take second hand of these
Socks
Men's underwear
Thermal vests/Long johns
The Stamford Bridge and Chelsea Supporters' Trust collections will also be running before the Premier League match against Brentford.
Financial contributions
Clothing donations are a part-solution to a long-term societal problem and therefore, Chelsea Foundation is also appealing for financial donations which will be granted to charities in London tackling homelessness and its roots causes all year round. Donations can be made below…
