Michael Golding and Josh-Kofi Acheampong both played the full 90 minutes as England made it two victories in as many games by winning their second group match of the European Under-17 Championship in impressive fashion.

England's Under-17s ran out 4-1 winners this evening against the Netherlands as three of the five Chelsea players called up were used.

The contest was 1-1 going into the final moments pf the game, after England's early opener was cancelled out with 20 minutes remaining. However, they produced a late show which saw the Young Lions score three goals in the last 10 minutes of the game, as the Dutch were reduced to 10 men by a red card, and ensured England's victory and progression to the next round of the competition.

In addition to the two starters Michael Golding and Josh-Kofi Acheampong, Somto Boniface was the third Chelsea Academy player to feature, as he came off the bench late on in the game.

Kiano Dyer and Ted Curd are also part of the England squad in Hungary for the tournament but were not involved in this match.

The Chelsea players with England Under-17s will next face Switzerland, who are also on maximum points so far, in their final game of this stage on Wednesday afternoon. That will decide who finishes first and second in Group D, with the runner-up already certain to meet Germany in the last eight and the winner facing France or Portugal.
