Several of our young Blues were involved in two international friendlies for the England Under-17 team against Germany this week, including a huge win.
The second of the two games saw the Young Lions put on a fantastic display as they beat Germany 6-0, with Michael Golding, who captained the side in both games, scoring the fourth of six good goals.
His Chelsea Academy team-mates Josh Acheampong, Somto Boniface, Ted Curd, Tyrique George and Kiano Dyer were all also involved across the two games.
Curd, Dyer and Golding had earlier been included from the start in the first encounter against Germany, Golding captaining the side then too, but the Young Lions were on the wrong side of a 3-0 scoreline on that occasion due to a trio of quickfire first-half goals, before getting their revenge in the second match.
